Leadership of Development Team
• Oversee both the development and project management teams, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and efficient execution of projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to development teams working on customer-facing systems, restaurant technology, and data foundation solutions.
• Manage the project management team, ensuring they have the necessary support to lead projects successfully from initiation to completion.
• Align team priorities with business goals, ensuring projects and development efforts meet strategic objectives.
Development and Technology Strategy
• Lead the development of customer-facing applications, including mobile apps, web platforms, and digital ordering systems, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Oversee the development of restaurant technology (POS, kitchen management systems) and data foundation solutions to ensure operational efficiency and data consistency across systems.
• Ensure technical solutions align with business goals and are scalable, secure, and future-proof.
Project Management and Delivery Oversight
• Provide oversight on all technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Collaborate closely with project managers to address risks, resolve challenges, and ensure seamless communication between the development team and business stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery and the achievement of desired outcomes.
Financial and Resource Management
• Manage the budget for development and Project management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with business objectives.
• Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient use of internal and external development talent and IT support personnel.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Track and evaluate the performance of development initiatives and project management efforts, ensuring key milestones and KPIs are met.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on the status of development efforts, project performance, and any challenges encountered.
• Implement continuous improvement processes, optimizing development and project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and delivery quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing both development and project management teams in delivering technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of customer experience platforms, restaurant technology, and data systems.
• Extensive experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and development best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience in the retail or restaurant industry is a plus.
