JOB PURPOSE

The Planning Assistant Manager role is tailored for candidates with strong analytical abilities and leadership potential, focusing on the management and optimization of planning and inventory strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a solid understanding of forecasting techniques and operational improvement strategies.
The Planning Assistant Manager will be responsible for identifying challenges and implementing solutions that align with the company's strategic goals. This includes collaborating with cross-functional and international teams, promoting advanced planning tools, and contributing insights that support long-term growth and efficiency.

1.      Inventory Planning: Keep inventory levels in line with demand and operational needs. Optimize inventory to avoid shortages and excess.

-Short and mid-term planning on daily and monthly basis including supplier capacity planning, daily detail scheduling support according to store requirements, planning data validation and maintaining accuracy, target inventory controlling, reports maintenance. 

- Long-term planning - strategic 3 years horizon for planned sourcing changes coordination and MRP for Procurement negotiations

2. Demand Planning and Forecasting: Predict store demand for products and services.

Use historical data and market insights to improve forecasting accuracy.

3. Collaborating Across Teams: Host DII and IBP meeting to work with Operation, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.

4. Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators. Seek process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.

5. Using Digital Technology: Utilize Demand, Supply planning and forecasting software tools.

6. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance. Identify and manage supply chain risks.

7. Diagnose and resolve issues swiftly, designing and implementing solutions to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive productivity.

8. Identify and promote advanced tools and systems to support enhanced planning and decision-making processes.

 

Yêu cầu

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning or a related field, with demonstrated progression and leadership potential.
• Proficient in inventory and demand planning, with a strategic mindset aimed at long-term improvement.
• Strong experience with analytical tools, including but not limited to Excel, Power BI.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, D365).
