Reporting & Regular Management
· Drive initiatives to improve team productivity by reducing manual processes, specifically leading the automation of regular reporting using Power BI (training can be provided).
· Deliver accurate and timely reports to the Senior Management Team (monthly, quarterly, annually) and key stakeholders.
· Oversee and prepare monthly management reports and commentary to drive P&L improvements.
· Supervise team members in preparing presentation materials.
· Host monthly meetings to review P&L, analyze variances, resolve issues, and present recommendations to the General Manager (GM).
· Serve as the primary point of contact for Head Office (Group) on all report-related inquiries.
Forecasting & Budgeting
· Lead the annual forecasting and budgeting process, including timeline planning, cross-functional collaboration, finance team discussions, and financial statement reviews with the Finance Director (FD) and GM.
· Maintain the budgeting system and act as the primary contact for budget-related issues.
· Prepare budget presentation materials and support the Head of FP&A and FD during presentations.
Treasury Support
· Learn and maintain proficiency in all Treasury processes to act as a reliable back-up when needed.
· Ad Hoc Basis / When Needed - support daily treasury operations, including reviewing cash forecasts and assisting in managing the company’s cash position and banking relationships.
Ad Hoc Projects
· Lead the preparation of presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders, including shareholder reviews, franchisor meetings, board meetings and other key engagements.
Experience
· Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience. Preferably in financial reporting.
· At least 1 year of people management experience is an advantage.
Skills
· Proficiency with Power BI is an advantage, or at least willingness and interest to learn.
· Logical and analytical mindset with strong financial and commercial acumen.
· Proficient in financial modeling and advanced PC skills (especially MS Office, particularly Excel).
· Knowledge of the food services and/or retail industry is a definite advantage.
Competencies
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
· Ability to liaise effectively with senior management; strong presentation skills are an advantage.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage ad hoc projects.
Education
· University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
