NUMBER OF SUPERVISION: ~2–3 Managers, total 18–20 team members (Sourcing, Planning, Logistics)

JOB PURPOSE
Lead the full scope of supply chain strategy and execution across procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory management. Drive cost efficiency, service level improvement, and supply chain agility. Provide strategic leadership to align supply chain initiatives with business growth and operational excellence goals.
Key Responsibilities AND % OF TIME SPENT ON EACH
40% – Strategic Supply Chain Planning and Cost Management
• Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy for both Pizza Hut and KFC brands, balancing short-term operational goals with medium-term growth plans.
• Manage Cost of Sales (COS%) performance for both brands in alignment with business objectives.
• Set clear COS% targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies proactively.
• Develop and execute strategies in three key areas:
1. Material and equipment sourcing – leverage JRG and YUM group purchase power to secure competitive costs while maintaining strategic supplier relationships, including supporting factory raw material sourcing.
2. Inventory and logistics management – ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured deliveries to restaurants.
3. Quality assurance and value improvement – uphold high food safety and product quality standards, drive cost optimization projects, and explore sustainable packaging solutions.
• Ensure sourcing plans are aligned with Marketing and Product Development priorities, including new product launches and promotional campaigns.
25% – Operational Agility & Demand Fulfillment
• Maintain stable and high-quality customer service levels through robust supply chain performance.
• Build agile contingency plans (Plan B) with clear ownership and actionable steps to respond to unexpected demand surges or supply disruptions.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Marketing, and suppliers to fulfill dynamic market needs quickly and efficiently.
• Track core KPIs such as OTIF (On Time In Full), inventory turnover days, and supplier performance scorecards.
5% – Digital Transformation
• Lead supply chain digitalization initiatives to improve real-time data visibility, enhance forecasting accuracy, and optimize decision-making.
• Champion ERP enhancements, AI-driven forecasting, and tracking for greater operational efficiency.
5% – Yum SCM Council & JRG Banner Coordination
• Represent Taiwan supply chain in Yum SCM Council initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional strategies.
• Coordinate cross-banner supply chain collaboration within JRG to maximize group synergy and cost savings.
30% – People Leadership and Team Development
• Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Chain Management team to meet organizational goals and deliver exceptional results.
• Conduct regular goal setting, performance reviews, and capability development plans for direct reports and the wider team.
• Foster a collaborative, performance-driven, and customer-focused culture across the supply chain function.
• Influence cross-functional leaders to support strategic supply chain priorities.
Qualifications/ Competence Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business, Food Nutrition, Food Science, or a related discipline.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, including 5+ years in people leadership roles.
- Experience in factory management is an advantage.
- Proven track record in logistics, inventory management, procurement, and quality assurance in the food or quick service restaurant industry.
Skills
- Deep knowledge of food safety regulations, sourcing, and vendor management.
- Strong logistics and inventory management expertise, including international trade.
- Advanced analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
