Job Summary:
In this role, you will serve as a trusted HR Business Partner, working closely with business leaders to drive key people priorities across organisational design, workforce planning, performance management, and talent mobility. You will shape and execute people strategies that directly support business outcomes, while upholding strong HR governance, compliance, and best practices.
Beyond advisory, you will take the lead in delivering high-impact people initiatives — from strengthening employee engagement and evolving HR policies to optimising processes and systems. You will also play an active role in transformation efforts, helping the organisation scale and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
This is a highly visible and hands-on role that requires strong collaboration with stakeholders across functions, as well as the ability to influence, challenge, and deliver.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a People and Culture Business Partner to an assigned business portfolio by providing HR advisory support on organisational structure, manpower planning, salary review and performance management, change management, exit interviews, staff movement, and serving as a custodian of HR processes, compliance, and policies.
- Develop and implement strategic people and culture initiatives aligned with Group and business objectives to drive overall organisational performance.
- Provide expert guidance on people and culture practices, streamline work processes, and review and update HR policies, including the staff handbook and company policies such as leave policy, hybrid work policy, typhoon and black rainstorm policy, etc.
- Initiate, plan, and execute effective people and culture solutions; stay up to date with F&B industry trends, including employment laws and regulations, market trends, and benchmarking, to drive change and continuous improvement within the People and Culture function.
- Support the People and Culture Team Leader in managing day-to-day operations and resolving staff-related matters by providing recommendations and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with different stakeholders to drive talent attraction and management initiatives, employee engagement programmes, and strategic workforce planning.
- Support the Group’s HR transformation and change management projects in partnership with HRIS project implementation teams and external vendors, ensuring system transition and integration are completed on time and aligned with stakeholders’ requirements.
- Participate in or lead HR projects and assist with ad hoc assignments as required.
You’ll be a great fit if you have/are:
- 8–12 years of hands-on HR experience in a matrixed and sizable organisation, preferably gained in MNC, FMCG, retail, or F&B industries.
- Proven track record of leading change or implementing new HR initiatives, applying innovative and integrated HR practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across various functions, managing multiple key stakeholders within a complex environment.
- Highly self-motivated and passionate, with a positive attitude, confidence in one’s work, a can-do mindset, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
- Result-oriented with the ability to execute and deliver efficiently.
- A degree in HR or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws; well-versed in the Labour Ordinance and MPF/ORSO, with solid experience in handling EC cases, staff disciplinary matters, and grievances.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong project management and data analysis skills.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
