JOB PURPOSE

The role of the R&D Manager is to ensure implements product and technology "Best Practices" in island wide and cross JRG PH, lead process improvements for all core products to enhance product quality, optimize costs and supply self-sufficiency. Additional responsibilities will be commercialization of New Product Development initiatives & the management of local & global core suppliers and products.

•   Develop & maintain Brand Std. & local made specifications/ standards for all products

•   New Product Development (NPD) commercialization & the development of reliable supply for the critical ingredients

•   Quality improvement initiatives

•   OP product standard management

•   Develop commercialization for core products with local supplier efficiency, usage and cost optimization

•   Manage local supplier facility and core product evaluations/cuttings

•   Be self-sufficient in managing core suppliers to improve product quality and resolve local quality issues

•   Train local experts for all items

•   Technology transfer to and from Yum R&D

•   Collaborate with Pizza Hut Vietnam to explore reapplication of Taiwan products to drive regional synergy
