Lead backend architecture design and microservices evolution.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Define and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and engineering best practices.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including build, test, security scan, and deployment automation.
Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
Oversee multi-environment deployment strategy (Dev / UAT / Production) and release governance.
Design database schema and optimize performance across relational and caching systems.
Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, health checks, and incident management.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to backend engineers.
Collaborate with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Improve engineering efficiency, automation, and delivery quality.
Contribute to long-term technical roadmap and platform strategy.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of backend development experience in Java.
2+ years experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (Google Cloud preferred).
Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and ORM (Hibernate / JPA).
Experience with Redis or other caching mechanisms.
Understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT) and system performance optimization.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.
Ability to take technical ownership and drive engineering standards.
