About this Role

 

* Report to: TW Finance Director (FD)

* Total Team Size: 1 (This Role) + 8

* Leading 2 members directly

 

Role Purpose

The Finance Business Partnership Manager is a senior finance leader responsible for driving profitable growth through commercial insight and disciplined cost management. The role leads two core teams:

  1. Commercial Finance – partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, B2B and E-Commerce / Digital Operations teams to optimize sales performance, pricing, promotions, and trade investment.
  2. Cost of Sales (COS) – owning end‑to‑end visibility and control of costs directly linked to sales, pricing, and promotional activity, ensuring margin protection and transparency. Work closely with Supply Chain Management Team.

 

This role acts as the financial backbone of commercial decision‑making, translating strategy into actionable insights, forecasts, and performance management.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Finance Leadership

  • Lead the Commercial Finance team to provide high‑quality financial partnership to Sales, Marketing, B2B and E-commerce / Digital Operations teams.
  • Own financial evaluation and performance tracking of: 
    • Sales growth initiatives
    • Pricing strategies and price realization
    • Promotional mechanics, ROI, and trade spend effectiveness (Marketing ROAS)
  • Develop and maintain robust pricing, promotion, and margin analytics, including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Challenge commercial plans with data‑driven insights to maximize revenue quality and profitability, not just top-line growth.
  • Support Strategic projects by providing financial modeling and commercial input and insight.

 

2. Cost of Sales (COS) Management

  • Lead the Cost of Sales team with responsibility for forecasting, controlling, and analyzing sales-linked costs (ingredient costs, wastage, promotional impact on food costs, etc.).
  • Ensure clear linkage between commercial decisions and their COS impact, enabling transparent margin reporting.
  • Drive initiatives to improve gross margin, including cost leakage / overspending identification, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement to align volume, pricing, and cost assumptions.

 

3. FP&A Ownership & Performance Management

  • Own the commercial and gross margin elements of the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews focused on: 
    • Revenue vs. plan
    • Margin drivers
    • Pricing and promotion effectiveness
    • Channel effectiveness
    • Etc.
  • Establish clear KPIs and dashboards for commercial and COS performance.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and decision-oriented management reporting to senior leadership.

 

4. Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the FD and Leadership Team on commercial and margin-related topics.
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing finance team with strong business acumen.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and data quality.
  • Promote a culture of business partnering, ownership, accountability, and commercial mindset within Finance.

要求

Skills & Experience

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance preferably in F&B, Retail or Consumer Goods sectors. 
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong background in sales, pricing, promotions, and margin management.
  • Deep understanding of Cost of Sales mechanics and their linkage to commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and be able to challenge constructively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand, and multi-channel environment.

 

Preferred

  • Experience in management consulting or a Big Four accounting firm is highly valued, especially in roles involving financial strategy, performance improvement, or transaction support.
  • Exposure to complex pricing and promotion environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
